Kampusbet ~ Real Madrid were too attacking, claims Rafa Benitez after Barcelona run riot at the Bernabeu
Agen SbobeT ~ Real Madrid were humiliated at home to Barcelona because they tried to be too attacking, according to Rafa Benitez.
Barcelona stormed to a 4-0 win at the Bernabeu.
Luis Suarez scored a superb brace while Neymar and Andres Iniesta also
found the back of the net in an electrifying attacking display.
Benitez spent the international break facing criticism from all
quarters for his perceived defensive style of play. And if the
Saturday's clasico was supposed to prove his team knew how to entertain, then it was a ploy that failed miserably.
“We wanted to attack and win back the ball high up the field but it didn’t come off,” he said.
“We’ve made mistakes and against a team like Barca you pay for those dearly.
We’re all responsible for it not going well, now we look for unity in the group and to try and sort this out in the next game."
Bandar Judi Online SbobeT ~ Some
fans felt Benitez had been forced into picking an attacking line-up,
selecting the players that Florentino Perez wanted to see in action.
Benitez, though, rejected such claims.
“I try to manage the squad as best as possible," he added.
“I picked players with the quality to do better than we did.”
He continued: “When you lose in this way there is a worry as to how the players will react. We’ve paid for our mistakes.
“At half-time they were angry and at the end of the game there was little to say.
“I won’t talk about a lack of desire in my team. In the second half we’ve started really well we just lacked a reaction.”
