Agen Casin()  ~   Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is wanted as the face of a revamped Chinese Super League. 

The England skipper, 30, has reportedly been the subject of an approach, despite still having three years left on his deal at Old Trafford, reports the Sun.

 

But fresh from a new £830million TV deal, the CSL are reportedly eyeing a bona-fide world superstar to lead the league into a new era.

The hope is that a superstar like Rooney, would tempt others to do likewise.

The Chinese government have been making a major effort to raise football's profile across the country, with a number of former Premier League .

Rooney missed Man United's 2-1 win over Watford at the weekend through illness and hasn't been at his best so far this season, scoring just twice in 11 Premier League games. 

However his star continues to shine bright on the world stage while it's said that his advisors are considering all options ahead of what would likely be his final major contract.
