The 46-year-old’s representatives are due in London on Thursday for talks about taking over at Stamford Bridge this summer.
The former Juventus boss has emerged as the front runner to succeed Guus Hiddink, who took over in an interim capacity after Jose Mourinho’s dismissal in December.
Current
Juve manager Max Allegri has also been sounded out, but the Italian
giants have made moves to sign him on a new contract.
Chelsea
have also looked at outgoing Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini,
but it seems more likely that the next Stamford Bridge boss will be an
Italian.
Bandar Judi Online SbobeT ~ Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone has a buy-out clause, but he refused to give the Blues a decision midway through the season.
Conte’s
deal with the Azzurri expires after Euro 2016 and his representatives
want a three-year-deal worth £6million a year at Chelsea.
Conte’s
team qualified for Euro 2016 without losing a game – seven wins and
three draws – and are among the favourites to win the tournament.
He has a strong coaching reputation and is believed to be keen on the Blues and making the move to the Premier League.
