Judi Online -   Chelsea are poised to make a fresh bid to land £70million-rated Juventus superstar Paul Pogba before next week’s transfer deadline.

The Premier League champions - closing in on Everton’s £34million-rated defender John Stones - had a move for Pogba turned down last week.

 

But they will continue negotiating for the 22-year-old France midfielder after being left convinced from earlier discussions that a deal could yet be done in this window. 

Chelsea are keen not to be overtaken by the impressive recruitment at Manchester City who have signed £49million winger Raheem Sterling, £32million defender Nicolas Otamendi, £8million midfielder Fabian Delph and have £57million-rated Kevin De Bruyne in their sights. 

Mourinho has already admitted this summer that Pogba would improve any side in the world

Speaking during Chelsea’s pre-season tour of America, Mourinho said: “Pogba is not to put pressure on people.

 Pogba is one of the top players in the world. Pogba goes to any team and improves that team automatically.

“If he stays at Juventus, Juventus will be very strong again. If he goes somewhere else he will improve immediately a team.”

Juventus have already taken £23.3million flop Juan Cuadrado on loan but the Blues maintain Willian - another player in whom the Serie A side are interested, will not leave.

The representatives of Oscar, the third Chelsea player that Juve are keen on, insist he will not leave the club this summer under any circumstances.

Chelsea have already signed left-back Abdul Baba Rahman and Barcelona’s Pedro during this window, with the winger scoring on his debut at West Brom on Sunday.

Victor Moses is set to follow Cuadrado out of the exit door before the deadline with West Ham leading the chase having offered £6million.

Tottenham are also interested but Chelsea want £10million for the former Wigan star.

Meanwhile Everton have yet to respond to a transfer request handed in by Stones on Tuesday. 

The 21-year-old has told the Toffees that he wants to join Chelsea after seeing three bids of £20million, £26million and £30million turned down.
