The 15,000 Club Wembley season ticket holders received an email this week telling them to wear neutral colours for Saturday's showpiece.

The email warns fans they risk not being granted entry to the stadium if they fail to adhere to the rules.

Wembley has never allowed replica shirts in its corporate areas but that rule has now been extended to include hats, flags, scarves and a number of other items.

Williams even tried to storm the Leicester bus, to get to Mahrez, as he was so angry.

Ranieri, ahead of Sunday’s game which will be officiated by Mark Clattenburg, insisted: “It is another match. When the game is finished, everything is finished.

“If something happens, I call Riyad and say: ‘Stay between Robert Huth and Wes Morgan and Marcin Wasilewski - come on!

“But Mark Clattenburg is a fantastic referee, I have no problem.”

Ranieri openly admitted for the first time yesterday the Foxes can win the league despite being 5,000-1 outsiders at the start of the season.

Ranieri acknowledges England striker Vardy will be a big loss tomorrow after scoring 22 goals and having six assists.

He must now weigh up whether to start targetman Leonardo Ulloa, who has four goals this term.

But Ranieri could opt for a like-for-like replacement by starting the pacey Jeff Schlupp.

“Without Vardy we have to make some other strategy,” said Ranieri. “Leo deserves to play but before Leo there is the team and I think about what is the best for the team.”

The vehicle, believed to be driven by the England international, occurred in a collision in the city on Thursday, report the Newcastle Chronicle.

 

Witnesses say the incident occurred on the A1056, just a few miles from the Magpies' training ground, at around 9.15am.

Club bosses have declined to comment on the incident while the police investigation continues.

One teacher, who was driving to work along the A1056, said: “The cars involved pulled over on Sandy Lane and they seemed to swap details.

“I made the point of pulling over too just so the other drivers knew I would be willing to be a witness to what happened. That’s when we realised it was Andros Townsend.”

Northumbria Police confirmed they were investigating a collision.

“The drivers are not believed to have suffered any injuries and only minor damage was caused to both cars.

“Enquiries into the collision are on-going.”

It came after Moss gave another highly debatable penalty against Leicester and also sent off Jamie Vardy for a second yellow card for diving. Leicester striker Vardy angrily finger pointed at Moss, appeared to swear and could risk a further suspension.

But Moss then enraged West Ham by awarding a penalty against Carroll for a foul of Jeffrey Schlupp which allowed Leonardo Ulloa to equalise to put Leicester eight points clear at the top.

Carroll said: “I think it was a poor decision. I think he's trying to even it up and I think a lot of people have said that. It's not acceptable, week-in, week-out we've had bad decisions.

"Four decisions went against us. When we had our penalty, Wes Morgan said: ‘he doesn't know what he's doing, he's been bad all game.’ It's happening every week and it's unacceptable.

"They need video evidence, 100 per cent. Whether they've got the camera, whatever - something needs to happen.

The England skipper will continue his return from injury for Manchester United against Aston Villa on Saturday.

But Three Lions chief Roy Hodgson is determined not to pick his captain on reputation or past achievements and is believed to have settled on Harry Kane as his central striker, with Tottenham club-mate Dele Alli in the No 10 role for the opener against Russia in Marseille on June 11.

That leaves either Rooney, Jamie Vardy or Raheem Sterling to start on the right in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Danny Welbeck on the left.

It means the Arsenal duo of Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will miss out entirely when Hodgson names his squad on May 12, barring late injuries to others. 

And the resurgent West Ham striker Andy Carroll will not make the 23-man party either.

Rooney, who broke Sir Bobby Charlton’s all-time England scoring record during a 100 per cent qualifying campaign, will make the plane to France – but his status as Three Lions captain will not guarantee him a starting role.

Rooney returned to first-team action after a two-month lay-off with a knee injury, when he appeared as a late substitute in United’s 2-1 FA Cup quarter-final replay victory over West Ham but he has been overtaken by Kane and Alli for his preferred central roles.

The young Spurs duo starred in England’s 3-2 comeback victory over world champions Germany in Berlin last month, convincing Hodgson they must start against Russia.

But Hodgson, who knows the Euros will be his England swansong unless they prove a major success, will not select Rooney unless he is fully fit and firing.

Time appears to have run out for Walcott, who has been largely frozen out of Arsenal’s starting line-up by Arsene Wenger and is not going to make the cut with competition so fierce for positions in forward areas.

In defence, either Phil Jagielka or Kyle Walker will be omitted, with Hodgson set to select just seven defenders – knowing that Eric Dier can play either as a holding midfielder or central defender, while John Stones can operate as a centre-back or right-back.

The central midfield situation is less clear with Jack Wilshere finally back from a 10-month absence and Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson facing a desperate fitness battle after suffering a knee injury against in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final at Borussia Dortmund last week.

Wilshere remains Hodgson’s preferred starter in the midfield anchor role – especially for the group games against Russia, Wales and Slovakia, in which England are likely to dominate possession.

Should they go on to face Europe’s elite sides, Wilshere is more likely to have Dier operating behind him in a more defensive-minded line-up.

But Fabian Delph remains a certainty to make Hodgson’s squad – and possibly his starting line-up – despite a frustrating first season at Manchester City, with the England manager valuing his energy.

"I’m not fully fit yet [De Bruyne returned less than a fortnight ago after a two-month knee-injury layoff], but I need to play games to find my best physical condition.”

But De Bruyne insists City are not merely happy to reach the semi-finals, claiming he is hell-bent on winning the Champions League.

West Ham haven’t lost at home since August, and United are running into Carroll fresh from his hat-trick heroics against Arsenal on Saturday.

Van Gaal said: “I have seen the Andy Carroll show. He has special qualities and we have seen that in the match he played on Saturday.

At the end of a week in which Conte’s summer arrival was confirmed, Hiddink gave several fringe players their chance.

But few took it and Conte would have been left in no doubt as to the challenge he faces when his duties with Italy are over.

And Hiddink warned his players they need to show a champion’s mentality to be part of Chelsea’s bid to climb back to the summit of English football.

“It is a clean slate, everyone has to fight for his position with the new manager coming in of course,” said Hiddink.

“He is a man of character,” said Guidolin, about Conte, who will take up the reins from current interim boss Guus Hiddink, following Euro 2016.

“I don’t know much about the history of these allegations, but I do know that they do not sound like the Antonio Conte who I know.”

Conte strongly denies allegations that he failed to report match-fixing concerns when he was manager of Siena in 2011.

The case is going through the Italian courts, with prosecutors stating they will press for a suspended six-month jail sentence if the current Italy national team boss is found guilty.

Nonton Bioskop Film Semi  ~   Conte is renowned as a strict disciplinarian, with a volcanic temper, but Guidolin believes he has the right characteristics to maintain the repair job begun by Hiddink.

“He won the league championship title three times with Juventus and now he has this big chance with Chelsea,” he said. “He’s one of the best managers in Europe.”

And Italy legends Andrea Pirlo and Gianluigi Buffon also insist Conte will be a huge success at Stamford Bridge – but have told Chelsea players to prepare for some hard work.

Conte worked with Pirlo at Juventus as well as with the Italian national team.

Pirlo, who plays for New York City in the MLS, said: “I’m certain he will do well.

“He is a terrific worker. The Chelsea players should be prepared for very hard training sessions and for being asked to repeat individual actions many times – day after day. Conte is very professional.”

Buffon added: “Conte is a big coach and I’m convinced he will be an excellent one for Chelsea. 

Conte’s teams are always strong in defence and practise very hard. But the players can expect a lot of work every day.”

The Liverpool captain was on crutches as he arrived at Spire Hospital in Merseyside to find out the extent of the problem he sustained in the draw with Borussia Dortmund on Thursday night. 

Scans showed the midfielder suffered knee ligament damage at the Signal Iduna Park and will miss the remainder of the season.

However, there was some positive news as it emerged he will not need an operation on the injury and still has a slight chance of being fit for England duty at Euro 2016.

Henderson has sustained a partial tear and sprain to the Lateral Collateral Ligament at the front of the knee, an injury which typically sidelines a player for at least three months, which would rule him out of the European Championships.

But the damage is isolated to the LCL, which means if all goes well with his rest and then intensive rehabilitation, then he could be back in training within six weeks.

While that would effectively mean Henderson's Liverpool season is over, he could just return to training by the end of the season - giving him an outside chance of making the England squad for the summer tournament.

But he has suggested he will pick the players he takes to France by May 12, which leaves Henderson with the task of proving his recovery is on course, before he is actually able to play again.

With England due to play Turkey on May 22, and then Australia and Portugal in friendlies at the end of the month, there is still time for the midfielder to prove his fitness.

But it is only a remote chance, and Hodgson may be inclined to take few risks with his squad, given that he has already suggested he'll take skipper Wayne Rooney to France, even though the Manchester United striker will have played few games by then.

Liverpool's medical team will do their best to give Henderson a chance of making the opening England game in Marseille, on June 11 against Russia, and he will begin his rehabilitation almost immediately.

But the odds are still stacked against the midfielder, who must feel cursed this season, after also suffering from a long term foot injury that has destroyed much of his campaign.

Last night, while Vardy was celebrating a victory over Southampton, his partner Rebecca Nicholson was on the end of despicable tweets by sick social media users.

The posts describe threats to rape the pair's five-year-old daughter and are too graphic to publish.

The striker, who has fired Leicester City to the top of the Premier League, was so angered by the tweets that he shared the comments to 236,000 followers on his Twitter account

And police confirmed to Mirror Online they have now launched an investigation.

Leicestershire Police said in a statement: "Leicestershire Police is investigating a report of malicious communication being sent via social media.

"A report was made today of an abusive message being received yesterday evening by a woman on Twitter.

"Enquiries remain ongoing and the force is liaising with Leicester City Football Club."

The posts were made after his partner posted an image of their daughter onto the social networking site.

The accounts - which were ran by Twitter users claiming to be Manchester United fans - are now no longer active.

One has been suspended and others have been deleted.

Fans have rallied around Vardy after seeing the disgusting abuse.

One wrote: "Oh my God - what is this?".

"Report them to the cops," another urged.

Another added: "Jamie, just to point out, not all Manchester United fans are like this, I'm sorry if those idiots have offended you."

United’s crisis-hit season hit a new low with Thursday’s 2-0 Europa League last-16 first leg defeat at arch-rivals Liverpool, which has left them on the brink of exiting the competition.

Boss Van Gaal’s feeble side managed just one shot on target at Anfield and had goalkeeper David De Gea to thank for keeping the scoreline respectable.

The Europa League debacle came on the back of defeat at West Brom in the Premier League, and the dispirited Red Devils next host a high-flying West Ham in an FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday.

Van Gaal's sixth-placed side now face a desperate battle to remain in Europe and clinch a top-four finish that would book them a place in next season’s Champions League. 

The eventual winners of the Europa League also qualify for UEFA's elite club competition.

Former United stars turned TV pundits Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand laid into Van Gaal after the Liverpool defeat, accusing him of stripping the Reds of their traditional attacking swagger.

But defiant Van Gaal hit back, claiming his much-maligned philosophy is working and blaming a glut of injuries for United’s current malaise.

“I don’t want to hide behind the injuries but we are still in three competitions, we can fight for a lot.

“Still we have the chance to win something. You have to believe in that — a lot of my [managerial] colleagues are not in three competitions any more.”
